Hacienda Manteles is located in the central Andes of Ecuador, near the valley of Patate and the town of Banos, around 3 hours drive south of Quito. The hacienda is nestled between the Sangay and Llanganati National Park at an altitude of 2,650 metres (8,268 feet).
